ISO Preschool/Infant Toddler Teacher

ISO: Full-Time Waldorf Preschool Teacher 🌿
Arcata, CA | Position Begins June (with Sub Opportunities Beforehand)

We are seeking a full-time preschool teacher to join our Waldorf based, nurturing, nature-based early childhood program in Arcata. We are expanding this summer, and this full-time position will officially begin in June. However, the right candidate may be hired earlier as a substitute, with the intention of moving into the full-time role.

This position is ideal for an educator who feels deeply called to work with young children, values a natural lifestyle, and is inspired by nature-based, rhythmical learning.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 ECE units in Early Childhood Education

At least 2 years of experience working with children

Genuine love of working with young children

Ability to work harmoniously with others as part of a collaborative team

Strong intrinsic motivation and the ability to independently recognize what needs to happen next in the classroom

Calm, warm, and grounded presence

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a Waldorf or Waldorf-inspired setting

Infant/Toddler units (or willingness to obtain)

Appreciation for seasonal rhythms, outdoor learning, and simple, meaningful work

Position Details & Benefits:
