Weekend Caregiver Needed – Westwood (Calligraphy Senior Living)

We are seeking a compassionate, responsible weekend caregiver for our mom, Pat (early 80s), who lives in an independent living community in Westwood. She has Alzheimer’s and macular degeneration and needs support to ensure her safety, routine, and well-being.

Responsibilities include:
-Driving to medical appointments, church, and activities
-Managing reminders and coordinating her schedule
-Assistance with personal care (including toileting/Depends changes), laundry, and light housekeeping
-Companionship, conversation, and supervision
-Monitoring health changes and communicating with family as needed

Requirements:
-Prior caregiving experience (dementia experience preferred)
-Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills
-Valid CA driver’s license, reliable car
-Willingness to undergo background check
-Strong verbal communication skills

Pay: $25–$40/hour, depending on experience
Mileage: Reimbursed at $0.65 per mile
