Box Truck Driver (Local)

We are seeking a reliable and professional Box Truck Driver (Local) to join our team. This role involves local route driving, delivery, and transportation of goods using a box truck. The ideal candidate must be at least 21 years old, will have experience in commercial driving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks with minimal lifting and moving. Duties
Safely operate a box truck for local deliveries and route driving within designated areas
Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks.
Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while maintaining high standards of customer service
Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
Provide excellent service by addressing customer inquiries professionally and courteously
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR Required)
Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
Experience with warehouse equipment and pallet jacks is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
Ability to work independently and adhere to schedules efficiently
Prior warehouse experience is preferred, but not required; training will be provided for specific equipment use and tasks
