Speech Therapy Student Needed for Child with ASD - In-Home Sessions

We are seeking a graduate or undergraduate student to provide in-home speech therapy for our 6-year-old son with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Part-time: Approximately 2 sessions per week (schedule is flexible)
Location: Millbrae
Compensation: $40 per hour + mileage reimbursement
Start date: As soon as possible

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Providing in-home speech therapy sessions
Helping our son generalize communication skills across different environments
Implementing evidence-based intervention strategies
Tracking progress and maintaining session notes
Collaborating with our existing therapy team

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Current student in Communication Disorders or related field
Interest in working with children with ASD
Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about learning
Some experience with children preferred but not required
Available for approximately 2 sessions per week (flexible scheduling)
Our son is a lovely, active 6-year-old boy. We're adding in-home therapy to help him generalize skills learned in clinical settings to his home environment. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain practical experience while making a difference in a child's life.
