Duties
Greet customers warmly and process transactions efficiently at the cash register
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist with menu planning and food presentation to ensure appealing dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
Serve food to customers in a timely and courteous manner
Support catering events and special functions as needed
Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols at all times
Restock supplies and ingredients as necessary to maintain smooth operations
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
Familiarity with menu planning and fine dining presentation standards is a plus
Experience with dietary departments or dietary aide roles is advantageous
Strong communication skills for effective customer service and team collaboration
Knowledge of food industry standards, culinary techniques, and catering operations is desirable
