Gnarly’s Bar, Arcade & Theater is hiring Arcade Hosts to help run our retro arcade, toy museum, and entertainment space. We’re an 80s/90s-themed arcade bar and live show venue featuring comedy, magic, burlesque, movies, and neon nostalgia.

This role is for people who like talking to guests, selling fun things, and keeping the vibe positive and playful.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an Arcade Host, you are the front line of the guest experience. You will:

Greet guests and explain how Gnarly’s works

Sell and scan show tickets

Sell arcade play and wristbands

Sell fun international & domestic snacks

Make and sell popcorn, pizzas, and hot dogs

Help guests with arcade games

Keep the arcade, lobby, and toy museum clean and stocked

Assist with IDs, wristbands, and crowd flow during night shifts

Help promote upcoming shows and events

Support bartenders by bussing and running drinks when needed

Keep an eye on the room to maintain a safe, friendly, fun atmosphere

You are part host, part cashier, part arcade wizard, and part snack bar hero.

SCHEDULE

Gnarly’s will be open Tuesday–Sunday from 2PM to 2AM.

Shifts typically fall into:

Day Shift: 1:30 PM–7PM

Night Shift: 6:30PM–2AM

Weekend availability is required.

PAY & PERKS

$16–$18 per hour

Tip-outs from the bar on night shifts

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You do not need arcade or bar experience. We’re looking for people who are:

Friendly and outgoing

Reliable and on time

Comfortable handling money and POS systems

Comfortable making and handling food items

Good with customers and crowds

Able to stand, walk, and move for long shifts

21+ for night shifts
