EastCoat Pavement Services is looking for a skilled, dependable mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks and pavement equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diagnosing problems, fixing things right the first time, and keeping equipment running.

Responsibilities

-Repair and maintain company trucks and trailers
-Diagnose and repair construction and pavement equipment
-Small engine repair (compact equipment, pumps, blowers, etc.)
-Hydraulic systems: hoses, fittings, leaks, basic diagnostics
-Preventative maintenance and inspections
-Occasional field repairs as needed

Qualifications

-Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience
-Knowledge of gas and diesel engines
-Working knowledge of hydraulic systems
-Ability to troubleshoot independently
-Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded

Valid driver’s license required


Nice to Have (Not Required)

-Heavy equipment or fleet mechanic experience
-Welding or fabrication skills
-CDL or DOT inspection experience
