Job Title: Part-Time Shipping Clerk

Location: Midwest Dental Arts

About the Job:
Midwest Dental Arts is looking for a part-time Shipping Clerk. This position is responsible for all laboratory shipping tasks. These tasks include ensuring customer receive accurate orders and on time deliveries.

Looking for 5 days a week starting at 12:00pm-5:00pm(approx.)

A successful Shipping Clerk has great attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, and possesses a basic understanding of databases. Must be able to use a computer, scanner and use internal database (order entry)

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Log and disinfect case as they come in
• Prepare/package cases for shipment, ensuring that all items are neatly, safely and accurately prepared for shipment.
• Review document to ensure on-time delivery.
• Measure and weigh shipments.
• Enter information into shipping company database.
• Create and print shipping documents.
• Update and maintain accurate order entry of cases into lab software.
• Responsible for correspondence with customers and shipping companies (FedEx/UPS/MDA Drivers)
• Responsible for accurate billing and invoicing.
• Order, prepare and maintain adequate shipping supplies.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to use a computer and scanner.
• Basic Microsoft Office experience.
• Ability to read cursive writing.
• Accurate touch-typing skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
