Private Housekeeper

We are a family of 4 in center grove in Coconut Grove looking for a housekeeper to start immediately from 10:30am-4:30pm, 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Time of arrival and departure are flexible and can discuss in the interview. Our 2 children, ages 8 and 10, are in school all day and have activities after school. We both work mostly from home with light travel. This position is paid bi-weekly and has paid time off, paid holidays, and paid sick time after 6 months.

Core Cleaning Duties
• Rooms: Dust all surfaces, vacuum carpets/rugs, mop hard floors, clean windows/mirrors, sanitize and clean bathrooms (toilets, showers, counters), and keep kitchen spotless (appliances, sinks, counters).
• Bedrooms: Dust, vacuum, mop, and keep tidy. Change bedding on Fridays.
• Waste: Collect, take out trash and recycling daily.
• Deep cleaning: Projects tasked as needed.
Laundry & Linens
• Wash, dry, iron, and fold clothing, bedding, and towels daily.
o Wash bedding weekly.
• Manage linen closets and restock supplies.
Organization & Tidying
• Declutter and keep living areas, bedrooms, and common spaces neat.
• Organize closets, cabinets, and pantries.
Supply & Equipment Management
• Monitor and restock household supplies (toiletries, cleaning products).
• Keep cleaning tools and equipment clean, disinfected, and stored properly.
Additional Responsibilities
• Errands: Grocery shopping, dry cleaning drop-off/pickup, mail.
• Meal Prep: Daily healthy lunches for 2 adults, mostly salads and shakes. Prepare 2-3 healthy dinners per week before leaving for the day.
• Pet/Plant Care:
o Feed pets daily, 2 cats.
o Weekly watering of the plants, inside and outside.
• Transportation:
o School pickup and transport to after-school activities, if needed.
Key Qualities
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, time management, and discretion/confidentiality are crucial.
• Must have a car and clean driving record.
• Must speak Spanish and English fluently.
• Must be legal to work in the United States.
• Must be ok with cats.

Compensation: $25-35 p/hour DOE
