Direct Care Staff:
We are looking for professional and compassionate Direct Care Workers to care for adults with developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting. We are especially seeking candidates who have experience caring for individuals with behavioral challenges. We provide quality care for our clients in a comfortable and warm environment. Join our team today! The ideal candidates will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks helping clients with habilitation goals and provide monitoring the whole time on shift. Habilitation is designed to assist people in acquiring, retaining and improving their self-help, socialization and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in home and community-based settings.
Skills/Requirements:
· Documentation / Incident reports
· Daily progress notes
· Transportation
· Daily upkeep of home (cooking/cleaning)
· Medication Administration
- Support personal care as necessary
· Comply with state and federal licensing and company policies
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
