We are seeking a dependable and skilled Medical Assistant (Back Office) to support providers and clinical teams in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role is ideal for a professional who is confident in back office clinical duties, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Title: Medical Assistant – Back Office
Pay Rate: $21–$22 DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Fresno, CA 93720

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
• Perform back office clinical procedures within scope of practice
• Administer injections and medications as directed by providers
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and other clinical tests as required
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked, cleaned, and properly prepared
• Document clinical information accurately in EPIC
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
• Support providers with additional back office clinical tasks as assigned
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MUST HAVE 2-3 years of back-office experience in Primary Care or Family Practice.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical workflows and patient care procedures.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Professional, compassionate, and comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment.
