Yard Goat Driver – 1st shift

iStaffing is a staffing agency partnering with leading logistics and warehouse facilities throughout the Inland Empire. We are currently seeking a dependable Yard Goat Driver / Yard Hostler to support yard and warehouse operations at a Riverside location.

Job Summary:
The Yard Goat Driver is responsible for safely moving trailers within the yard, positioning them at dock doors, staging areas, and designated locations to support warehouse and shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely move, spot, and park trailers using a Yard Goat / Terminal Tractor

Position trailers at assigned dock doors for loading and unloading

Inspect trailers for damage, cleanliness, and proper documentation

Communicate with dock personnel and supervisors regarding trailer status

Maintain accurate yard inventory and trailer location records

Follow all safety rules, yard procedures, and traffic flow guidelines

Perform basic equipment inspections and report mechanical issues

Ensure proper coupling and uncoupling of trailers

Support warehouse operations as needed

Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License

Proof of Insurance

Clean Driving Record

Yard Goat / Yard Hostler / Terminal Tractor experience required

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Strong attention to safety and detail

Good communication and teamwork skills

Spanish is a plus


Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb in and out of equipment multiple times per shift

Ability to sit for extended periods

Ability to perform light physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs if required

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00AM-2:30PM

Pay: $20.00 per hour
