Mira Mesa Shell Cashier Position + More Options

Hello!

We are looking for our newest team leader. We are looking for an assistant manager or cashier for a full time position. Do you have excellent customer service skills? Do you want to create positive outcomes for our customers in a convenience store & gas station environment? The Shell Gas Station is located at 6695 Mira Mesa Blvd. San Diego, CA 92121.

The pay will be hourly, but there will be additional opportunities. You will get a gas weekly subsidy as well. The position will be a combination of weekday and weekends. A Friday-Tuesday 5 days a week, with Wednesday Thursday off could be a potential schedule. Alternatively, we are willing to have just a weekend manager who works Saturday/Sunday. You will work directly with another site manager and the ownership. This is a busy station, with a taco shop and car wash next door. (You are not responsible for the taco shop or car wash).

You will be responsible for all sorts of front staff requirements. If you are hired as an asst. manager then it will include hiring new employees, taking care of problems, making the schedule, doing daily paperwork and more. You must have previous experience as a cashier or manager at gas station or another retail outlet such as restaurant, store, etc. We will fully train you, and all training will be paid for. All the systems are in place for you to have a successful career.

REQUIREMENTS:


• Must have the ability to accurately handle money
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must be capable of effectively communicating with customers and co-workers
• Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
• Must be able to do simple math such as counting, recording, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Minimum education level of high school graduate or GED equivalency
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift
• Regularly lift and or move up to 20-50 pounds
