Schedule: 7:00AM - 3:00PM
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hour

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-service oriented Front Desk / Security Associate to support daily operations at our San Mateo location. This position is responsible for maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for tenants, employees, and visitors.
If you’re punctual, detail-oriented, and confident handling security-related responsibilities while providing excellent front desk service, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
• Front Desk / Customer Service
• Greet tenants, guests, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage visitor check-ins, issue visitor passes, and follow building/guest procedures
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and route requests to the appropriate contact
• Support administrative tasks such as logging incidents, vendor coordination, and basic reporting
Security/Building Support
• Monitor building entry points and maintain overall site awareness
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas and perimeter (as required)
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
• Respond to building incidents calmly and professionally and escalate as needed
• Coordinate with building management and emergency responders when necessary
• Support access control procedures (badges, keys, door monitoring, etc.)
Requirements
• Minimum 1-year experience in front desk, security, hospitality, or building operations preferred
• Strong communication skills and professional presence
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle incidents with discretion
• Comfortable enforcing policies while maintaining excellent customer service
• Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and perform patrols
• Proficient with basic technology (email, incident logs, tablets/phones)
• Must pass background check
• CPR / First Aid is a plus
• Guard Card preferred (if applicable—can be employer-assisted depending on candidate)
