Job Description

Woman-owned remodeling and repair company seeking a reliable, highly organized support technician to assist with hands-on remodeling work, job logistics, and maintaining organized systems.

This is an in-person role working directly with the owner on residential and light commercial projects. Organization, reliability, and comfort with physical work are key to success in this role. Trade experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule

Part-time: minimum 12 hours per week

Typically Tuesday–Thursday

Daytime hours within a general 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. window

30-day trial period

Pay

$25/hour to start

Opportunity for pay and hour increases over time based on performance

Primary Responsibilities

Assist with remodeling and repair work (drywall repair, painting, basic plumbing/electrical — training provided)

Help with material handling, setup, and cleanup using safe lifting practices

Maintain organized tools, materials, and workspaces

Jobsite setup, cleanup, and daily reset

Run errands and support job logistics

Occasional billing, spreadsheet, or admin tasks (training provided)

Physical & Practical Requirements

Comfortable working on ladders and performing hands-on tasks

Able to regularly lift and carry materials up to 65 lbs, with occasional assistance for larger or awkward items

Comfortable using a computer and common software such as email, Microsoft Word, and Excel (basic proficiency required)

Requirements

Strong organizational habits and attention to detail

Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

Personal cell phone

Protective-toe work boots required (boot reimbursement available)

Background check required due to working in clients’ homes

Professionalism, respect for clients, and comfort working with a woman-owned business are essential.
