Job Description
I’m a DC-based professional seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Personal Operations Assistant to help with personal logistics, home-related projects, and administrative follow-through.
This role is focused on execution and completion — researching options, coordinating vendors and contractors, scheduling, following up, and closing loops. The work is personal (not business-related) and requires local, in-person availability in DC when needed.
Responsibilities include:
Researching and coordinating contractors, service providers, and vendors
Scheduling appointments and site visits
Being present for contractors or deliveries when needed
Managing follow-ups until issues are fully resolved
Coordinating small errands (e.g. dry cleaning pickup/drop-off)
Managing personal calendar logistics and task lists
Helping to organize details for parties I host
Details:
Independent contractor (1099)
Flexible, ad-hoc hours (typically 10–40 hours/month)
$40–$55/hour, depending on experience
Based near Logan Circle; local proximity required
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, household manager, or similar role
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
High degree of discretion and reliability
Comfortable working in Google Workspace and Apple iCloud (Calendar, Notes, Messages)
