Experienced Event Captain -3 Day Event

The Event Captain plays a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth on-site execution of a touring live edutainment experience. This position acts as the bridge between the Event Manager and front-of-house teams, overseeing staff coordination, logistics, and guest experience throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Event Manager to execute event timelines, logistics, and service standards
Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and support teams; assign duties and monitor performance
Check in and check out staffing agency temporary employees and accurately track their hours
Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all spaces, equipment, and service areas are properly prepared
Coordinate food and beverage service with catering partners and service teams to maintain quality and flow
Welcome guests, assist with seating, and promptly resolve guest concerns or special requests
Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are followed by staff
Monitor and manage inventory of event supplies, equipment, and service materials
Troubleshoot on-site issues quickly to maintain a seamless guest experience
