Job Summary
Special Education Paraeducator ($20.24/hr), Child Development Teaching Assistant ($20.45/hr)

Requirements / Qualifications
MATERIALS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of training and experience, which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Paid or volunteer experience performing like duties
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Training and/or experience in child development and behavioral training preferred

These requirements must be met prior to beginning employment and will be requested upon job offer acceptance.
- Fingerprint and Background clearance (paid by employer)
- Post offer, pre-employment physical exam (paid by employer)
- Valid Tuberculosis clearance
- Proof of vaccinations for Flu (annual), MMR, TDAP*
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- PERS/STRS retirees are NOT eligible for this position
