Job Title: Production Floor/Packer

Reports To: Supervisor FLSA Status: Nonexempt

SUMMARY
Primarily engaged in the production of baked consumer products by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Sorting/picking up baked products
• Placing cookies into assorted tubs, trays, bags, boxes, etc.
• Gather packaging materials, including empty pallets
• Collect packaging materials, including empty pallets
• Taking inside trash receptacles to outside trans bins
• Cleaning all work areas, machinery & utensils
• May operate some equipment I machinery
• Cleans walkways
• Labels containers with correct labels and date codes
• Prepares and sets-up workstation
• Weighing assorted packages, containers, boxes & bags
• Places work-in-progress into finished goods packaging or containers and pallets.
• Equipment and utensils used in production must not pose a contamination threat to products and their surfaces must be smooth, impervious and free from cracks or crevices.
• All employees are required to monitor equipment and utensils used in daily manufacturing and report any change in equipment condition (no matter how insignificant it may seem). For example: cracks, scratches, peeling labels or plates, missing covers, caps, buttons or similar that may pose a threat to finished products or proper function and/or safety of equipment
