Barista / Server / Line Cook – Indonesian Restaurant (PADI)

About PADI

PADI is a new Indonesian restaurant opening soon in Hollywood, California, offering authentic Indonesian cuisine along with a coffee and breakfast program in the mornings. We are building a strong opening team and are currently hiring experienced Baristas, Servers, and Line Cooks who are passionate about hospitality, food, and teamwork.

Open Positions & Responsibilities

Barista Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks and brewed coffee
* Dial in espresso and operate coffee equipment properly
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee station
* Take orders and process payments using POS system
* Provide friendly, efficient customer service
* Assist with opening and closing duties for morning service
Barista Requirements:
* 2–3 years of barista experience preferred
* Knowledge of espresso machines and grinders
* Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Server Responsibilities:
* Greet guests and provide excellent table service
* Take food and beverage orders accurately
* Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner
* Maintain cleanliness of dining area
* Handle POS transactions and cash accurately
* Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff
Server Requirements:
* Prior restaurant serving experience preferred
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Line Cook Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
* Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation
* Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
* Work efficiently during busy service periods
* Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
Line Cook Requirements:
* 1–3 years of line cook or kitchen experience preferred
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and food safety practices

General Qualifications (All Positions)
* Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
* Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs
* Comfortable working mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment

* Valid authorization to work in the United States (I-9 verification)
* Government-issued photo ID
* California Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
* Compliance with all state and local health department regulations
