Shade Doctor, the nation’s #1 shade solution provider, is seeking a motivated and driven Sales Consultant to join our growing team. We specialize in residential and commercial shade solutions including retractable awnings, retractable screens, pergolas, bahama shutters, hurricane shutters, and other shade control products.

This is a commission-based, part-time position with strong earning potential and a clear path to a full-time role based on performance. Ideal candidates are confident communicators with a consultative sales approach and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Run appointments and close sales through in-home, on-site, and inside sales efforts
Identify customer needs and recommend customized shade solutions
Conduct professional product demonstrations
Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Negotiate pricing and close sales agreements
Track leads and sales activity using Leap & SalesPro
Upsell additional products and services when appropriate
Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitors
Provide outstanding customer service from initial contact through close
Qualifications

Sales experience preferred (consultative, in-home, or direct sales a plus)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to close deals and overcome objections
Comfortable working in a commission-based compensation structure
Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, Leap, or similar) preferred
Self-motivated, reliable, and goal-oriented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn products and continuously improve sales skills
