Temporary Part-Time Caregiver at Asian Senior Facility

We are a small residential senior care facility in Poway looking for caregivers to help for the next couple of months as we prepare to relocate down south. We specialize in Japanese-style care, but some of our residents and caregivers come from diverse backgrounds. Japanese language skills are a plus but not required.

This position is ideal for experienced caregivers currently working at another facility who are looking for additional income.

Shifts available:
Morning: 7am–1pm or 9am–6pm
Afternoon: 1pm–7pm
Night: 7pm–7am

Pay is $20 per hour.

Job responsibilities include assisting residents with ADLs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and feeding; medication handling; facilitating resident activities; communicating with management about resident conditions; and laundry, cleaning, and light cooking.

Qualifications:
Must be able to work at least three days per week, be kind, dependable, flexible, and willing to learn. Must be a team player and able to work independently during night shifts if scheduled. Experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. Ability to speak Japanese or another Asian language is a plus but not required.

Requirements:
- Criminal background clearance
- CPR certification
- Health screening form and TB test (within the last six months)
- Documentation of completed state-required caregiver training (certificates, transcripts, or training logs)
- Caregiver Experience
