Delarosa Marina, located at 2175 Chestnut Street in San Francisco’s Marina District, is a vibrant Italian restaurant known for its communal tables, sleek modern design, and energetic vibe. Opened in 2010, it’s become a neighborhood staple just steps from Crissy Field, the Palace of Fine Arts, and the Presidio.
Delarosa has earned a reputation as the go-to for relaxed, flavorful dining in the Marina. Its laid-back yet stylish setting, approachable menu, and consistent quality keep both locals and visitors returning again and again.
About the Position
Bartenders are responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality to guests seated at the bar while also supporting the dining room through timely, accurate drink execution. This role requires maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.

Key Responsibilities
• Complete daily bar setup and breakdown, including stocking, garnish prep, glassware polishing, and sanitation
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages consistently and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready bar throughout service
• Engage guests with knowledgeable, warm, and professional hospitality
• Accurately fulfill drink orders for both bar guests and service well tickets
• Maintain strong working relationships with FOH and BOH team members
• Assist with dining room or service support as needed and in some cases serve two roles, bartender and server
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and health department standards
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 2 years of cocktail bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar
• Experience in upscale-casual or fine dining environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic and craft cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
• Ability to execute drinks consistently under high volume
• Experience with POS systems (Toast preferred)
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to take direction while also working independently
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, respectful attitude
Requirements
• Current California Food Handler Card
• Valid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Weekend availability required, including brunch
