Part-time companion wanted

Looking for a part-time companion to spend time with a highly intelligent, accomplished, well-traveled, and outgoing 82-year-old female client in Los Altos.

The client is in good physical health and needs social and mental stimulation as well as daily physical activity.

Daily activities may include, but are not limited to, intelligent conversation, walks, shopping, transportation, listening to music, keeping the client on task with persistent, gentle reminders, and some light administrative assistance.

No medical experience is required, however you should be someone who is patient, has experience or a good understanding of mild memory decline, is organized, responsible, reliable, and a non-smoker.

The days/hours are flexible, but ideally looking for someone four or five days a week from about 10-12noon. Hourly rate is $35-$40, private pay, with the possibility of increased hours over time.

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and provide a LiveScan background check and two letters of reference.
