Sushi Sato – San Francisco

Japanese Sushi / Omakase Restaurant

Sushi Sato is hiring a Full-Time Sushi Chef and Sushi Helpers (Full-Time / Part-Time).
Omakase or sushi bar experience is a plus, but we are open to candidates with strong basics and a good attitude who want to grow.

Sushi Chef – Full-Time (FT)

Duties:

Fish prep and butchery (filleting, portioning, nigiri & sashimi cuts)

Sushi rice (shari) preparation

Support omakase and sushi bar service

Station setup, organization, and cleanliness

Assist with prep, inventory, and daily operations

Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Requirements:

1+ year experience in sushi or Japanese kitchen

Good knife skills and basic fish handling

Clean, organized, punctual, and reliable

Team player with good communication

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Sushi Helper – Full-Time / Part-Time (FT/PT)

Duties:

Assist with fish prep, rice prep, and kitchen tasks

Support sushi chefs during service

Cleaning, dish support, and station organization

General prep and kitchen assistance

Requirements:

Kitchen experience preferred but not required

Willing to learn sushi and Japanese cuisine

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Reliable and able to follow instructions

Authorized to work in the U.S.
