Project manager/estimator position

We are a busy bay area contractor looking for an experienced project manager/estimator. We specialize in residential construction and pride ourselves in quality construction services.

OVERVIEW:
The project manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction as well as all field employees and will ensure that phases of construction get completed in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be familiar with all construction trades.

JOB DUTIES
• Ability to create estimates and change orders
• Establish professional and working relationship with clients
• Demonstrate a good relationship with all employees
• Read, comprehend and do material take-off from plans
• Partner with office staff before project begins to ensure that job costs are in accordance with the construction project.
• Ensure job site is ready for inspection and supervise city inspections
• Prepare agenda for client meetings and provide notes in a timely manner
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with OSHA regulation

JOB REQUREMENTS
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling
• Minimum of 5 years as a project manger or supervisor
• Strong communication, coordination, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to interact and communicate with clients through all phases of the job
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Willing to submit to a background check
