Training & Development Instructor

We are hiring for the following (2) positions located both in Corona CA.

Training & Development Instructor:
SCHEDULE: Monday–Thursday: Teaching, Friday: Focus time Hours: 7:30 am – 3:00 pm or
8:00 am – 3:30 pm
Pay Rate: $20 - $25/HR
Required: Associate’s degree in a related field (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development).
Experience working as a primary school teacher, including planning and delivering
lessons, and supporting the academic and social development of individuals. Prior experience
supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. Must be
proficient in reading, writing, and basic math, as well as Google Docs, spreadsheets, and word
processing programs. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are
essential. A valid California driver’s license is required.


Community Employment Specialist
7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Half hour lunch Monday to Friday,
$21.00- $24.00 per hour
Engages Consumers and establishes trusting, collaborative relationships directed toward the goal
of competitive employment in community job settings with other workers who do not necessarily
have disabilities.
● Assists Consumers in working at regular jobs of their choosing.
● Conducts job development and job search activities directed toward positions individualized to the
interests and uniqueness of each Consumer, following the principles and procedures of IPS
Supported Employment.
● Conducts a minimum of three new employer contacts per week. Employer contacts are designed
to:
○ Learn about the needs of the business
○ Highlight Consumer strengths relevant to the position
Three (3) years’ experience working with Individual Placement Consumers; Associates Degree, other
education in mental health, social services, or business or closely related field; or a combination of
experience and education. Experience providing employment services to individuals with intellectual
disabilities are preferred. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and to be a self-starter,
while working as an effective team player.
