Job Summary

The Junior Office Administrator provides administrative and Human Resources support to ensure efficient office operations and compliance with employment regulations. This role assists with employee records, payroll and benefits administration, recruitment support, and general office duties while contributing to a positive and professional workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily Human Resources operations, including employee relations and compliance
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and HR documentation
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, recruitment, and employee communications
• Support payroll processing, timekeeping, certified payroll, and employee time-off tracking
• Assist with benefits administration and act as a liaison with insurance carriers
• Process Workers’ Compensation claims and support EEO policies and procedures
• Perform general office duties such as answering multi-line phones, correspondence, reports, and mail distribution
• Operate standard office equipment and support administrative needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or related field preferred but not required.
• Prior administrative or HR experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and internet-based systems
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with confidentiality and professionalism

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
