Barista Dialog Cafe WeHo

Dialog Cafe is a family-owned cafe in the heart of West Hollywood, adjacent to the Sunset Strip. We have served our community for over 15 years, providing the highest quality coffee, pastries, and food. We source locally from farmer’s markets, and use vendors who also take an immense amount of pride in their finished product. Our goal is to provide excellent service to our community while also creating a space that feels like home for all people.

We're looking for one Barista to join our team. We are located on 8766 Holloway Dr.. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.

Part Time & Full Time positions available. Must be available for closing shifts & weekend shits.

YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN 3RD WAVE COFFEE. 


Responsibilities:

- Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with Company Standards 
- Execute Latte Art 
- Prepare smoothies in accordance with Company Standards 
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Follow health and safety guidelines Interact with customers regularly and professionally


Qualifications:

- Proven working experience as a barista. Must have knowledge of third wave coffee
- Must be able to calibrate espresso
- Must be able to execute latte art 
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively

- Valid CA Food Handlers
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Willingness to follow direction and ask questions when clarification is needed
- Ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
