Family Law Associate Attorney

Prager Jones, APC, is a boutique firm practicing family law and estate planning. We are looking to hire a full-time associate attorney to help with our family law caseload. Our office is in La Mesa. Primary Responsibilities:

- Draft motions, responses, declarations, correspondence, agreements and other family law documents
- Propound and respond to written discovery
- Make various family law court appearances
- Legal research
- Assist with trial preparation
- Client management
- Assist with or handle trials consistent with experience (we take many cases to trial each year so if you want trial experience you will get it)

Requirements:

- 1+ year of family law or litigation experience (preferably, but not required!)
- Member in good standing of California State Bar
- Experience with tracking billable time a plus
- Ability to handle assigned caseload and interact with clients
- High level writing capabilities and attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Demonstrated time management skills and ability to re-prioritize and work under multiple deadlines
