Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Director to lead operations for a time-critical courier service specializing in urgent, same-day, and mission-critical deliveries. This role requires exceptional decision-making under pressure, real-time coordination, and flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee 24/7 time-critical dispatch operations
Coordinate and manage drivers for same-day, STAT, and priority deliveries
Make rapid routing decisions to meet strict delivery deadlines
Monitor live GPS tracking and dispatch software in real time
Resolve urgent service disruptions, delays, or driver issues immediately
Ensure compliance with safety, customer, and operational standards
Communicate clearly with clients, drivers, and leadership during critical situations
Track performance metrics (on-time delivery, response time, utilization)
Qualifications:3–5+ years of dispatch or operations management experience (courier, logistics, or transportation)
Proven experience in time-sensitive or high-pressure environments
Strong leadership and crisis-management skills
Expertise with dispatch systems, routing software, and GPS tracking
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure
Flexible availability for after-hours or emergency escalations
Compensation & Benefits:
