Position Overview

We are seeking an HVAC Testing & Balancing Technician to support a long-term resort project in Lahaina, Maui, scheduled through early 2027. While the work is based on Maui, Oʻahu-based candidates willing to travel or relocate for consistent project work are encouraged to apply.

This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy technical, detail-oriented field work rather than service calls or installation.

### Key Responsibilities

* Perform HVAC air and water testing using calibrated TAB instrumentation
* Measure airflow, temperatures, pressures, and system performance data
* Assist with system troubleshooting and verification during commissioning
* Record and organize field data using Excel-based reporting tools
* Coordinate professionally with general contractors, mechanical contractors, and commissioning agents
* Work safely on active construction sites (mechanical rooms, rooftops, stair access)

Qualifications

* HVAC, TAB, controls, or mechanical field experience preferred
* Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and data
* Ability to use computers and Excel for field documentation
* Willingness to work in a construction environment (stairs, ladders, rooftops)
* Reliable, self-motivated, and professional
* Able to lift 50 pounds
*Have a drivers license in good standing

*TAB experience is a plus but not required — training available for the right candidate.*

* **$35–$55 per hour**, depending on experience and skill level
* **$10,000 project completion bonus**, contingent upon remaining in good standing through project completion
