Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Site Work Professional with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in site construction. This position is ideal for someone who understands excavation, grading, drainage, and septic systems, can read plans, operate equipment safely, and is willing to work alongside the crew performing labor when needed.

This is a working field position — applicants must be willing to labor. If you are not willing to labor, you will not be considered.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in site work / heavy civil / excavation.
• Massachusetts Hoisting License (required).
• CDL Class B required (Class A preferred).

• Strong understanding of:
• Site work construction methods
• Septic systems installation
• Drainage systems (stormwater, footing drains, piping, structures)
• Grades, elevations, and layout
• Laser levels, grade rods, and staking

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Comfortable operating equipment and working in active job-site environments.
• Willing and able to perform manual labor when required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, pipe installation, and backfill operations.
• Install septic systems and drainage infrastructure according to plans and code.
• Set and verify grades using laser and staking.
• Read and follow construction drawings and layout plans.
• Assist with labor tasks including hand digging, pipe work, cleanup, layout, and material handling.
• Maintain equipment and job site safety standards.
• Work closely with foreman and crew to maintain production and quality.
• Represent the company professionally with clients, inspectors, and other trades.
