Seeking Art Teacher for Boutique Studio

A boutique art & STEM enrichment studio in Livingston, NJ for children ages 1–7 is seeking a warm, energetic Part-Time Art Teacher who loves working with young children and guiding creativity through play and exploration.

Pay:
$30 per hour
1099 Independent Contractor

Schedule:
Weekday mornings (9:30am - 12:30pm) and/or afternoons (2:30pm - 5:30pm)
Weekend availability a plus, in mornings (9am - 12pm) and afternoons (3pm - 5pm Saturdays, 1pm - 3pm Sundays)

Responsibilities:
Lead small-group art classes (painting, mixed media, sensory art)
Assist with creating weekly lesson plans
Create a calm, engaging, and safe classroom environment
Support smooth transitions, light classroom management, and cleanup
Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers

Qualifications:
Experience working with young children (preschool, enrichment, camps, education, or similar)
Enthusiastic, patient, reliable
Passion for creativity and early childhood development

Preferred (not required):
Background in art or early childhood education
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
