Wage: $19/Hour, No Benefits
Temporary part-time (20-30 hours/week) position through April 15th
Busy Springfield accounting office has immediate opening for a temporary front-office worker. Will be required to work between the hours of 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Exact schedule and hours are to be decided and flexible but, must work at least four hours each day.
We are looking for an energetic individual with excellent customer service skills to maintain a professional and confidential reception area. If you are a fast learner, organized, detail-oriented and enjoy meeting and assisting clients in person, by phone, and email – we encourage you to apply.
Some of the job responsibilities include using a multi-line phone system; scheduling appointments; communicating with clients and staff through email; receiving, tracking, scanning, and filing documents.
Qualifications:
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in sometimes hectic and stressful situations.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adherence to business-casual dress code.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
What we are looking for:
• Previous experience working with the public in office, retail, or food service position.
• Established ability to assess clients waiting in-person and on phone, prioritizing needs to quickly assist.
• Background demonstrating calmness under pressure in busy and stressful situations.
• History of positions that required timeliness and reliability.
