Barn hand

Hello! We are a barn on Bainbridge island looking for help. We have a variety of shifts available and are looking for long term reliable help. Priority will be given to applicants with horse experience and who live close to Bainbridge. We have 15 horses. I’m looking for someone to work around 20-30 hours a week. Shifts are generally 4 hours long but could be shorter or longer, I can be flexible.
AM shift is 6:30-10ish
PM shift is 3-8ish

Responsibilities include-
Mucking stalls and paddocks
Blanketing horses
Feeding horses hay and grain
General barn cleaning
Moving hay (65lb and 80lb bales)
Operating farm equipment (we can teach you)

You MUST have reliable transportation. At least one weekend day available and holidays available are a must.
You must love horses, be physically fit, able to lift at least 65 pounds, follow directions, and work independently.
