Carpenter/Deck Builder- High End Outdoor Living

Outdoor Space Builders is hiring! We are a Connecticut-based custom deck and outdoor living contractor specializing in high-end PVC/composite decks, premium railing systems, pergolas, outdoor lighting, and helical pile foundations.

We are looking for a motivated Carpenter / Deck Builder with strong attention to detail, pride in their craft, and the desire to build top-tier outdoor living spaces.

Responsibilities Include:

-Deck framing & deck installation (PVC/composite preferred)
-Railing systems (aluminum, cable, composite, etc.)
-Pergolas & outdoor structures
-Finish carpentry & detail work
-Reading and executing from plans
-Jobsite safety, cleanliness & professionalism

Preferred Experience:


-Carpentry or deck building background
-Familiarity with modern materials (Azek, TimberTech, Decorators, etc.)
-Understanding of CT building codes & general construction practices
-Ability to problem-solve and maintain quality
-Strong teamwork and communication
