Job Description

PREP COOK/DISHWASHER

Emmi’s Sierra Madre, is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for washing dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

-Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment.
-Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, silverware as needed.
-properly store and organize dishes, pots, pans, silverware, etc.
-empty trash cans, remove boxes, and manage laundry bags as needed
-sweep and mop floors
-assist in various kitchen cleaning and maintenance projects as needed
-food prep work as time and business levels allow
-Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to professionalism, safety, hygiene, and food handling.

Candidates will possess the following qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-1-2 years of experience as a prep cook or dishwasher in a restaurant setting (preferred).
-Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
-Flexibility to work early morning, evening, weekends, and holidays as needed.
-ServSafe Certified or equivalent
