🌿 Full-Time Cook — Assisted Living & Memory Care Community

Location: Escondido / North County
Schedule: 6:00 AM — 6:00 PM (10 paid hours)
Full Time — 5 Days Per Week

Established assisted living and memory care community for 29 residents seeking a dependable Cook to manage daily kitchen operations in a professional, home-like care environment.

This position prepares nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents while maintaining a high standard of kitchen organization, sanitation, and presentation.

Responsibilities

✅ Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks daily
✅ Follow menus, dietary needs, and portion standards
✅ Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation throughout the day
✅ Dishwashing and full kitchen cleanup
✅ Maintain organized food storage and inventory
✅ Ensure food safety and infection prevention standards
✅ Independently manage daily kitchen workflow from start to finish

Requirements

• Experience preferred but not required , cooking experience in assisted living, healthcare, catering, or group meal service preferred
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Strong cleanliness and sanitation habits required
• Reliable attendance and punctuality essential
• Food safety knowledge required

Compensation

$21 — $22 per hour (DOE) + daily overtime after 8 hours.

Stable full-time schedule in a respectful and supportive work environment.

This is an independent working cook position responsible for cooking, dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and overall kitchen organization daily.
