Air Tube Testing Technician

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Air Tube Testing Technician for a pipe fabrication facility that prepares steel piping used in fire sprinkler systems. This role involves performing pressure testing on fabricated pipes to ensure quality and system integrity before shipment.

*Pay: $18–$19/hour
*Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM *Friday & Saturday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (overtime as needed)
*Position Type: Temp-to-Hire (720-hour conversion)

Responsibilities
• Perform air pressure testing on fabricated piping systems
• Inspect pipes for leaks or defects
• Record testing results and notify team of any issues
• Assist with pipe handling and movement in the pipe yard
• Maintain testing equipment and follow safety procedures
• Support production team with additional tasks as needed

Requirements
• 6+ months warehouse, construction, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and pass a tape measure test
• Comfortable working in an outdoor industrial environment
