We are based in Huntington Beach CA with work throughout SoCal. Your availability working day or night, and weekends is expected and will be required as the job necessitates.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial, and industrial environments. The Journeyperson Electrician will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including installation and troubleshooting.
• Conduct tests using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate electrical installations within broader construction projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on high voltage systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Experience
• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role within the electrical field.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations.
• Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety protocols associated with them.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and other relevant equipment.
• Previous work experience on construction sites mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
• Reliable transportation and great driving record with valid CA driver license.
• OSHA 30 card, Journeyman License, CPR/First Aid, and having 70E is a plus.
