Subcontract Meter Reader Wanted
Job Type: Independent Contractor
Location: Los Angeles (And Surrounding Areas)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual as a 1099 independent contractor to read electric, gas, and water meters in the Los Angeles area. As a meter reader, this individual will be responsible for accurately recording readings and submitting them in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
• Read and record meter readings accurately and efferently in Microsoft Excel or a Manual Read APP.
• Take photos of meters as needed.
• Submit property read files through email and/or upload reads through the Manual Reads APP.
• Work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Communicate with our team as needed.
Requirements:
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a computer with Microsoft Office to include Excel.
• Must have an iPhone or Android Smart Phone.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must be organized and able to manage your own schedule.
• Must have effective communication skills. Bilingual is a plus but not necessary.
• Must invoice the company for work performed.
Compensation:
• Pay varies and is based on the amount of time required on each property.
• Invoices are paid twice monthly.
