Everyday Eatery – Irvine, CA

Everyday Eatery is a modern breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant in Irvine. We are busy with strong weekend brunch service and steady weekday lunch volume. We prepare almost everything from scratch and place a strong emphasis on presentation and quality.

We are currently looking for a cook to join our kitchen team.

This is a hybrid role in a small kitchen, including line cooking, prep work, and shared cleaning responsibilities. Our cooks work closely together and support each other during service.

Schedule

Shifts are approximately 6:45 AM – 2:45 PM.

This position typically offers four days per week, with the possibility of five days for the right candidate who becomes a key member of the kitchen team.

Daytime hours only. No late nights.

Weekend availability is required.

Pay:

Total Pay $22-$25/hr

$20–$22 per hour depending on experience
Plus tips (approximately $2–$3 per hour)

What You'll Be Doing:

-Cooking on the line during breakfast and lunch service
-Egg station and brunch-focused cooking
-Food preparation and kitchen prep
-Plating and presentation of dishes
-Maintaining a clean and organized station
-Supporting the kitchen with shared cleaning and occasional dishwashing
-Our kitchen team includes 7–8 cooks working closely with a front-of-house team of about 14 people.

What We're Looking For

-At least 2 years of kitchen experience
-Comfortable working in a busy brunch environment
-Reliable transportation and strong attendance
-Positive attitude and willingness to learn
-Willing to help with cleaning and occasional dishwashing
-Ability to stay organized, clean, and efficient during service
-Comfortable working as part of a team during busy services

Requirements:

-Must be authorized to work in the United States
-California Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain one)
