Part-Time Independent Contractor – Woodworking & Cabinetry Shop Support (1099)
Small custom cabinetry and CNC shop in Fort Myers is seeking a reliable part-time independent contractor for supplemental, as-needed shop and installation support.

• This is a part-time, supplemental, as-needed contractor role
• Hours vary based on workload and availability
• No guaranteed hours or fixed schedule

Work Includes:
• Material handling, staging, and breaking down sheet goods
• Sanding, assembly, shop organization, and general shop support
• Assisting with CNC operation (training provided)
• Assisting with cabinet and trim installations as needed
• Helping document shop processes and SOPs (basic computer or note-taking skills helpful)
• Occasional delivery or jobsite assistance

Requirements:
• Prior experience in carpentry, cabinetry, trim work, or installation preferred (will train the right individual)
• English speaking
• Able-bodied and comfortable with physical, hands-on work
• Professionalism and willingness to learn and grow
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to work independently without close supervision
• Comfortable working around power tools and machinery
• Willing to learn shop workflows and follow established processes

Schedule:
• Part-time, as-needed
• Weekdays and/or weekends depending on project needs
• Work is sporadic and flexible by nature

Pay:
• $14–$25 per hour depending on experience and skill set
• Paid as a 1099 independent contractor
• Contractor is responsible for their own taxes and insurance
