Job Title: Full-Charge Bookkeeper
Work Location: Fully in Office - San Dimas, CA 91773
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $28–$35 per hour (DOE)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to support our continued growth by owning the full accounting cycle and maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant financial records. This role ensures the books are organized and CPA-ready while providing leadership with reliable financial insight. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, proactive, and confident, taking full ownership of accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions
• Online QuickBooks data entry for all accounting transactions
• General ledger management and chart of accounts maintenance
• Journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and adjustments (including multiple entities, if applicable)
• Accounts Payable (AP) processing and vendor management
• Accounts Receivable (AR), invoicing, payment application, and aging management
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Deposit tracking and cash application
• Cash flow monitoring and reporting
• Payroll processing and payroll-to-GL reconciliation (California compliance)
• PTO, sick time, overtime, and accrual tracking
• Monthly close management and financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Budget vs. actual tracking and variance analysis
• Sales tax setup, tracking, and filing support
• Year-end compliance support, including 1099 preparation
• Job costing and project-based accounting support (if applicable)
• Inventory and material cost tracking (if applicable)
• CPA coordination, audit support, and year-end close preparation
• Internal controls, audit trail maintenance, and account analysis
• Filing, organization, and maintenance of financial records and documentation
• Systems management, QuickBooks Online optimization, and process improvement
• SOP adherence, documentation, and cross-department coordination

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP
• Full-cycle bookkeeping experience (AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, month-end close)
• Advanced-level data entry with a high degree of accuracy
• QuickBooks Online: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency
• Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, cross-sheet tracking)
• Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations
• Experience preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Understanding of payroll processing and payroll-to-GL reconciliation
• Working knowledge of California payroll and wage & hour compliance
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
• Experience supporting sales tax and year-end 1099 preparation
• Strong overall computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Proactive, self-directed, and able to work independently
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information with discretion
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
