Experienced Family Law Paralegal (California)

We are seeking a highly experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our growing California-based practice. This position is for someone who is comfortable handling family law matters from intake through resolution and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include:

Drafting family law pleadings and legal documents, including but not limited to RFOs, DVROs, declarations, judgments, stipulations, and discovery

Assisting attorneys with custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, and dissolution matters

Managing cases from inception through settlement or trial

Communicating directly with clients in a professional and compassionate manner

Calendaring deadlines and court appearances in compliance with California rules

E-filing documents and coordinating service of process

Organizing case files and maintaining accurate records

Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years of California family law paralegal experience

Strong knowledge of California family law procedures and court rules

Experience with child support, spousal support, custody, and dissolution matters

Ability to draft pleadings with minimal attorney revisions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable

Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

Pay is commensurate with experience
