Orthodontic assistant - Encinitas - private office

We’re looking to add one full-time chairside orthodontic assistant to our outstanding team.
Ideal candidates are an OAP or RDA, though we’re happy to train the right person.

This is a full-time position (32–40 hours/week), typically four days per week, as we see full patient days four days weekly. Scheduling flexibility is available based on fit and applicant needs.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Intraoral scanning
• Wire changes
• Bonding braces and aligner attachments
• Delivering retainers
• Cementing appliances
• Taking photos and X-rays

We’re a friendly, private orthodontic practice that truly values team culture and work-life balance. Many of our team members have been with us for 4+ years. We opened in 2018 and continue to grow. Full time benefits include sick pay, bonuses, several paid national holidays, 401(k) after requirements are met, and we will provide scrubs after 3 months. Paid vacation is after 1 year of employment full time and starts with 5 days PTO.

Office hours are 8–5 or 9–5, with patients seen on Fridays just one day per month.
