Full time dishwasher position available, Sunday off

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Dishwasher to support our daily operations. This is a hands-on role crucial to the smooth running of our kitchen. The primary responsibilities include maintaining spotless dishware, kitchen equipment, and work areas, as well as assisting with basic food preparation tasks. No prior experience is required—we will provide training for the right candidate who shows enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning & Sanitation (Primary Focus):

· Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
· Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
· Manually scrub items as needed.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
· Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
· Sweep and mop kitchen floors, dining area (if applicable), and other designated spaces throughout and at the end of each shift.
· Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, sinks, and equipment.
· Assist with general cleaning tasks to ensure the entire restaurant meets health and safety standards.

Food Prep Support (Secondary Duties):

· Assist cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
· Portioning and preparing simple ingredients.
· Organizing and restocking food items in the kitchen and prep areas.
· Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the prep station.

General Duties:

· Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
· Work collaboratively with cooks, servers, and other team members.
· Report any maintenance or safety issues to a manager immediately.
· Complete any additional tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef.

Qualifications & Skills:

· No prior professional experience required; training will be provided.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
· Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
· Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 30-50 lbs.

Schedule & Compensation:

· Part-Time / Full-Time hours available. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
