Head chef/Lead line cook
We are looking for a new person to lead our kitchen. The position is for Hood Supply Co Bar and Grill in Hood, CA, right outsidee of Elk Grove. Candidates will need at least 3 years experience in a kitchen leadership position and must possess very good line cooking skills, especially with scratch cooking. Duties will include:
- Managing kitchen and dishwasher staff
- Lead and train
- Oversee daily kitchen operations during lunch and dinner
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Work closely with front-of-house management to keep service running smoothly
- Up to 55 hours per week
- Help with menu innovation, come up with new recipes and menu ideas

- Previous kitchen management or lead cook experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work lunch and dinner, weekends, and holidays
- Calm under pressure and great at multitasking
