Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, construction, and maintenance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
Responsibilities
Install plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
Collaborate with construction teams on projects to ensure plumbing systems are integrated effectively.
Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites, including heavy lifting as required.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction plumbing.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
Experience with basic math skills for precise measurements.
Previous experience in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong problem-solving skills with maintenance person experience being an advantage.
